If you have Secure Reminder or Notes PP you can easily use 'Note to speech' option that allows you to listen to your notes and reminders information instead of reading.
To listen to your note or reminder's information, just click on note's 'Speaker' icon (in note's left top corner).
Secure Reminder and Notes PP support the Microsoft Reader Text-to-Speech (TTS) Package for voice output.
If you have Windows XP or Windows Vista, Microsoft Reader Text-to-Speech Engine is installed with the operating system.

2. To install the program, double-click on the downloaded file (you have to remember where you saved it).
3. When the installation is completed, you should restart your PC.

How to configure Text-to-Speech options
How to determine or change the selected Text-to-Speech voice:
1. Select Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
2. Double-click on 'Speech'.
3. Currently selected voice is displayed in 'Voice selection' area. You can easily change it selecting another voice from the drop-down list of available voices and click 'Apply'.
To hear the current voice, click 'Preview Voice' button.

How to change Text-to-Speech Volume
1. Select Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
2. Double-click on 'Speech'.
3. Click 'Audio Output' button.
4. Click 'Volume' button. Adjust the appropriate device.
Note: not all devices support this option in the same way and 'Volume' button can be unavailable.
How to change Text-to-Speech speed
1. Select Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
2. Double-click on 'Speech'.
3. Move the Voice speed slider to change the rate of the Text-to-Speech voice. By default, it is set to Normal.

Text-to-Speech Troubleshooting
If you have Text-to-Speech installed on your PC but there is no voice when you click on the note's 'Speak' icon:
Make sure Text-to-Speech works properly:
Select Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
Double-click on 'Speech'.
Click 'Preview Voice' button.
If you cannot hear the 'Preview Voice' and see words highlighted as they are spoken:
- make sure the speaker volume is not muted or turned off
Note: some speakers have external controls for volume and muting.
- make sure the speakers are selected as the current output device. To check it:
1. Select Start -> Settings -> Control Panel.
2. Double-click on 'Speech'.
3. Click 'Audio Output' button
- make sure the speakers are connected properly. Consult the speaker hardware documentation for additional information
- make sure that the sound card for the computer is properly seated and installed

I don't want all sticky notes pop up every time I turn on my computer. What do I do?
Right-click the program tray icon and select Properties|Administrative tools from the tray menu. Turn off "Show/hide all Notes on Start Up" option.
