    How to create password note
    To create password note select Notes -> New password note in Secure Reminder tray menu or press Ctrl+P. In the "User Identification" window enter login and password.



    •  Notes:
     Password notes are always password-protected (they can't be created by guest account).
     Password notes are created in "password note" Group only.
     You can define your own hotkey combination for creating a password note. See Hotkeys
     Number of notes you can create is limited in Administrative tools

    How to generate password
    Secure Reminder uses Universal Random Number Generator (URAND) subroutine to generate random passwords. Universal Random Number Generator (URAND) is a subroutine for generating uniformly-distributed floating-point numbers in the interval (0,1). URAND is guaranteed to have a full-length cycle. Using Secure Reminder you can random generate the unlimited number of strong passwords.
    Built-in random password generator allows you to generate random passwords based on your preferences. You can specify password length, use upper/lower case letters and digits.
    To generate random password:
  • Click the Password button.
  • Specify password length and characters you want to use (upper/lower case letters and digits).

  • Click OK.
    •  Tips: If you want to generate password, make sure Password field is empty

    Random passwords can be edited and copied to the clipboard for pasting into other applications.

    Login and Password fields can be edited. Changes are saved automatically.
    To lock Login and Password fields from editing, click on the Set Read-only icon .
    To unlock Login and Password fields for editing, click on the Remove Read-only icon .

    • How can I clear AutoComplete history in Internet Explorer?

    To clear AutoComplete history in Internet Explorer:
    • Select "Tools"
    • Select "Internet Options".
    • Open the "Content" tab.
    • Click the "AutoComplete" button.
    • Click the "Clear forms" button to clear all AutoComplete form data and/or click the "Clear Passwords" to clear restored passwords.
    If you don't want Internet Explorer to save this data in the future, you may remove check marks from the necessary check boxes.
