How to make computer reminder using Secure Reminder software
Using Secure Reminder software you can set reminders to occur at the certain time. If necessary you can activate recurrent alarm - alarm action occurs:
- certain number of times with fixed interval between alarms;
- constantly with fixed interval between alarms.
How to set reminder:
If you don't have any reminder notes, you should create a reminder note first.
Right-click on the reminder note and select Settings|Alarm set in the context menu.
Turn the "Alarm feature" on by selecting Alarm on.
Put radio button next to "Reminder" to choose "Reminder" option.
Choose reminder date and time.
If you need to activate recurrent alarm:
put the check mark next to "Repeat" and
- if you want to repeat alarm action certain number of times - put the radio button in "Repeat times" field, set number of times and set time interval between alarms;
- if you want to repeat alarm action constantly - put the radio button in "Constantly" field and set time interval;
Note: "Next alarm time" field shows when the next alarm event will occur. This field is activated after clicking the "OK" button.
Choose reminder action(s) (popup reminder, flash note, play beep, play *.wav file, run program/open file or url, Shut Down Windows).
Click OK.

Put radio button next to "Reminder" to choose "Reminder" option.

Put the radio button in "Repeat times" field and set 7.
Set 5 minutes in "Time interval".
Choose reminder action(s).

You want to make reminder for December 29, 2006 at 11:00 AM that will work in recurrent mode (repeats constantly every 5 days).
If you don't have any reminder notes, you should create a new reminder note.
Right-click on the reminder note and select Settings|Alarm set in the context menu. The "Alarm settings" window appears.

• What do I do to make sticky notes backup?
If "Backup Notes on exit" option (in Administrative tools) is on, automatic notes database backup is made any time you exit the program or shut down/restart your PC. This protects your sticky notes from system failures and lets your revert to an older version of your notes database when necessary. For your convenience notes database backup file name consists of the date and time of creation (format of file name YYYY-MM-DD--HH-MM-SS, e.g. 2004-10-10--01-02-03).
Using "Autobackup" Capacity you can select how many *.dat files backups may be stored at the same time. If number of *.dat files backups exceeds the Autobackup capacity, the oldest *.dat files will be removed.
All backups are saved to the directory your program is installed in.
