What is AutoComplete?
AutoComplete is a feature that stores a list of everything you type in web pages (for example your name, e-mail address, credit card information, keywords you enter in search engines, etc). AutoComplete helps the user complete the form by suggesting possible matches - you can simply press the down arrow key and select the text without finishing typing. So anyone who has access to your computer can see a drop down list with information you've typed.
Why should I delete AutoComplete history or disable AutoComplete form settings?
While the AutoComplete feature may be helpful for some things, it can also seriously compromise your security and privacy, because anyone who has access to your computer can see what web sites you visited and what information you entered on web pages. Also various malicious software can use AutoComplete data to steal your personal information such as your name, e-mail address, credit card information and/or retrieve web sites passwords stored as autocomplete data.
How can I delete AutoComplete history?
ClearAllHistory protects your privacy and deletes AutoComplete forms content in Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Mozilla Firefox, Netscape and Opera. To delete AutoComplete forms information, you should use "Clear browser history" feature. To delete stored passwords, you should use "Delete stored Passwords" feature. Using ClearAllHistory scheduler, you can also set the program to delete AutoComplete history automatically.
How can I delete Internet Explorer AutoComplete history?
To delete AutoComplete forms history in Internet Explorer:
Select "Tools" then "Internet Options".
Open the "Content" tab.
Click the "AutoComplete" button.
Click the "Clear forms" button to delete all AutoComplete form data and/or click the "Clear Passwords" to delete restored passwords.
If you don't want Internet Explorer to save this data in the future, you can disable IE AutoComplete. Just remove check marks from the necessary check boxes.

Mozilla Firefox saves information entered in web page forms and the Search Bar to make filling out forms and surfing faster.
To delete AutoComplete history in Mozilla Firefox:
Select "Tools"

Click the "Clear" button in the "Saved Form Information" area.

To prevent Internet Explorer from automatically completing forms, such as filling in names, e-mail addresses, passwords, credit card information, etc that you have entered previously on a web page, you can turn off AutoComplete feature.
Internet Explorer AutoComplete feature can be enabled and disabled by the following steps:
Select "Tools" -> "Internet Options".
Open the "Content" tab.
Click the "AutoComplete" button
Check or uncheck the options you wish have or not.
Click OK.

Why should I clear Internet history?
All information about web sites you visit is stored in the browser history files and anyone who has access to your computer can see what web sites you visited. ClearAllHistory allows you to clear history in Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Mozilla Firefox, Netscape and Opera. "Clear browser history" feature also includes clearing address bar history (URL AutoComplete) and clearing AutoComplete forms. "Clear browser history" option for Internet Explorer includes deleting index.dat file.
